This course is designed to help students prepare for the U.S. Customs and Immigration Services Naturalization test. The test has four parts:
History & Government
Students will need to take a placement test to assess their English learning skills. Students should have an intermediate knowledge of English in order to enroll in Project Light's English Citizenship classes.
This course is 1-on-1 with a teacher and geared to each specific needs. Students will use citizenship-specific textbooks.
The cost to register is $30 per semester paid in August and January. The registration fee pays for the textbooks and a notebook for use in class and home study.
Upon enrollment, students sign a contract that specifies the expectations, responsibilities for the student and the school. If there are more than 2 weeks of unexcused absences, students are moved to the waiting list.
All of our classes are year-long based on the Manatee County School Calendar. Call 941-745-1659 or email to set a time to take the placement test.
