Citizenship Classes

This course is designed to help students prepare for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Naturalization Test.  The test has four parts:

  • Speaking

  • History & Government

  • Reading

  • Writing  

 

Eligibility
Students will need to take a placement test to assess their English learning skills. Students should have an intermediate knowledge of English in order to enroll in Project Light's English Citizenship classes.  

 

The citizenship class is an 8-week course. This course is in a group setting with a teacher and is geared to the student's needs.

 

*Project Light Language School does not conduct an official interview.  The Citizenship class will only provide a practice base for this interview and assist you in learning historical facts. Thus, Project Light Language School cannot guarantee its students to pass the Test. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will conduct an interview, evaluate your knowledge of the U.S. history and government, and decide if you pass the Test. 

 

Costs

Registration fee $50 (non-refundable.)

The cost for the Citizenship class is $ 50 ( includes study material.)
